STEAM Night, December 19

Wood families are invited to come to STEAM Night next Wednesday, December 19, 5:30-7:00 pm in the MPR. Check out your  student's work, and be prepared to Engage, Prepare, Inspire, Create!

Last trimester the 8th grade worked on an integrated project about time, and the manifestations of time. This sprang from the science curriculum in which students learned about the causes of days, months, years, seasons. They have produced 2019 calendars featuring major events from science (Moon phases, equinoxes, solstices), history (historical events), and mathematics (pi day, etc). Each month features artwork produced by our 8th grade students!

The calendars will be on sale during STEAM Night! Make sure to buy one for yourself and some to give to family and friends - they make the perfect gift!
